This November, the scholarship committee completed the selection process for the annual Liberty Bell scholarship. ROTC units from local universities and the military college were each invited to nominate a candidate; high school JROTC units were also invited to compete. The units were from the Valley Forge Chapter’s Delaware Valley area. The response from the JROTC units has very good. After evaluating each candidate’s application, essay and letter of recommendation; the committee conducted interviews by zoom. All of the candidates had stellar military, academic and citizenship achievements. The scholarship committee will recommend to the Chapter’s Board for approval an outstanding candidate.
